Meet Your Instructor
An expert in generative AI, Cassie authored the e-book "AI for Film & TV" and has conducted workshops for BBC, Screenskills, and Creative Enterprise amongst others. In 2023, he was named a Breakthrough Leader by the TV Collective and an Eccles Fellow at the British Library, his work has featured in The Guardian, Teen Vogue, and i-D Magazine.
Cassie Quarless is a documentary director & producer with a keen interest in technology, culture and communities. He recently served as development director for an Apple TV+ series and directed a BBC documentary on designer Virgil Abloh. His first BFI-funded film Generation Revolution was released in the UK and toured internationally. Cassie has developed projects on Stokely Carmichael, Malcolm Shabbazz, and Black British Music with PBS, BBC, and HBO amongst others.
